Hemp & CBD

While it is impossible for us to speak for all localities and jurisdictions, at this point in time there are no state laws prohibiting the purchase of CBD.

Our Organically Grown Full Spectrum CBD Oil and topicals are legal to buy in all 50 states via the 2014 Farm Bill as our Hemp concentrate contains less than .3% THC.  U.S. Federal law permits us to ship straight to your door.

Technically, both Hemp and Marijuana are the same species, Cannabis Sativa.  In order to be considered Hemp, the plants’ genetic profile must contain .3% THC or less. 

Though some CBD products can be mislabeled as “hemp oil” or “CBD oil”, they are almost always made with Hemp Extract as the active ingredient. Hemp Extract is the extracted essential oils of the hemp plant, which holds its therapeutic properties. Hemp seed oil, on the other hand, is used in cooking similar to coconut or olive oil for its nutritional content.


Our oil tinctures are made with USDA Certified Organic Full Spectrum CBD Extract, which contains naturally occurring CBD in addition to other beneficial accessory cannabinoids and terpenes. Our topical products are Certified Toxic Free and also contain Organically grown Full Spectrum CBD Extracts.

Everyone is unique in genetics, weight, diet, age, and health. Therefore, by taking our product every day, while at the same time charting the amount taken and the results, we believe every person can find the “perfect dose” for their body.

Listen to your body. If desired results are not achieved, then increase dosage. If you finish a bottle and do not experience the desired effect, consider trying a higher strength on your next bottle.

PLEASE SHAKE WELL, take at least 2x per day, allowing the active cannabinoids, including CBD, to stay in your system or as directed by your health care practitioner. Hold at the back of the gum line (by wisdom teeth) for 120 seconds or longer, then swirl like mouthwash before swallowing. Allow at least 2-weeks of daily use to see results.

We suggest picking a strength and starting low and slow.

Day 1–4:  1/4 to 1/2 dropper daily
Day 4–7:  1/4 to 1/2 dropper 2x daily
Day 7–12:  1–2 droppers per day (more if needed)

While some customers have felt the beneficial effects of our products right away, it is important to remember that everyone and every body is different! It is recommended to take a supplement for at least two weeks daily in order for the body to naturally adjust to the effects.

There is a full range of accessory cannabinoids, terpenes and other active components found in the genetic profiles of different hemp strains.  A Full Spectrum means that the extract contains many more of the natural active compounds found in the hemp plant rather than just Cannabidiol (CBD). CBD Isolate contains CBD only.

There have been numerous studies showing an increase in the therapeutic effect when CBD is administered in a “full spectrum” or “whole plant” extract, as opposed to isolated CBD. There is said to be a “symphonic” relationship between CBD and the other active compounds that are present. This is often referred to as the “Entourage Effect”.

This is a great question!  Each and every one of our products utilizes our hemp which is grown and harvested on organic and sustainable farms, the extraction and manufacturing facilities at which our CBD is extracted and processed also hold the required organic certifications.  Please read our ingredients on each product, and where an organic ingredient exists that is what we will always choose for our formulations.  Please note that each product gets its own respective USDA certification on a case by case basis, and we are in the process of adding more of these with our certification partners. This is important to us as we hope it is to you.

We use Supercritical CO2 extraction, which is recognized as the cleanest and safest extraction method.

 No.  Although some customers report feeling calm and relaxed, which is normal for hemp and also for other herbal supplements. CBD is NOT psychoactive.

Aspen Green products are classified as Hemp Supplements.  HEMP AND CBD PRODUCTS ARE SUPPORTED BY A WEALTH OF CLINICAL RESEARCH FOR NUMEROUS CONDITIONS. However, these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.  Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. 

Yes, though only in nearly undetectable, trace amounts. We do not remove the small trace amounts of THC contained in our Full Spectrum extracts because that would require the use of harsh chemicals that we ultimately do not feel comfortable with. We are also aware of the studies that show a greater benefit of a Full Spectrum extract with the symphonic relationship between CBD and the other active compounds present, including THC. All of our products contain well under the limit for Hemp which is .3% THC. All of our products are non-psychoactive.

We currently do not market any products that contain more than .3% THC, but we may choose to create and market a line of products with higher levels of THC in the future. At this time, we have no plans to bring such a product to market. 

There are many factors that would come into play as to whether or not one would test positive for THC on a drug test, including but not limited to the method of the test, sensitivity level, etc.

While it is very unlikely to test positive, it is not impossible as everyone is different.

Since everyone and every body is different, there are different applications designed for different absorption rates into the body. We suggest our Full Spectrum CBD tinctures (drops) for daily general use to target the “whole body” working directly into the body’s natural endo-cannabinoid system. We suggest our Topical products for external spot treatment, targeting the skin or other extremities.

Yes, you can convert points into coupon codes and share the codes with others. They can then redeem the coupons as a discount on their orders. To create a code, sign in to your account, and go to Rewards > Manage Points.
Coupons created using points expire after 30 days. When the coupon code expires the points are lost and not re-assigned.

If you make a return or cancel an order, the points earned will be removed from your account.

Currently, we only ship inside the United States. Please check back periodically as we are looking to expand internationally. 

All of our orders are shipped via UPS, so we do NOT ship to PO Boxes.

All orders placed by 5pm MT will be shipped by the end of the next business day (excluding holidays, etc.) via UPS ground from Colorado and will take up to 3-7 days depending on your location. Priority shipping is UPS 2-day shipping. For example, an order placed at 4pm MT on a Friday will be shipped out by the end of Monday.

We will place your subscription orders automatically according to your selected frequency of delivery, and you will be billed on the day the order is processed.

Not at this time. Rewards can not be used with orders that have a subscription. In fact, the redeem box will be unavailable when a subscription product is in your shopping cart.

Yes, purchasing a subscription requires all subscribers to create or have an existing account to manage your subscriptions. In your account, you will be able to access your subscriptions, billing and shipping addresses, order history, payment methods, and other account details.

Yes, in your account, under Subscriptions, you can change the status of a subscription.

  • To temporarily pause a subscription, click Suspend.
  • To resume a suspended subscription, click Reactivate.
  • To permanently stop a subscription, click Cancel.

IMPORTANT! If you cancel a subscription and an order has been processed, it will not cancel that shipment.

Yes, if a subscription has more than one product, you can remove all but one of those items from the subscription. After the item is removed, the subscription’s totals will be updated, removing the cost of that product.

No, currently we do not allow switching of a subscription’s frequency of delivery. You can always cancel and resubscribe.
Yes, you must contact us and we can make the adjustment for you.

Your subscription may be on hold because payment is due, or the payment failed. To fix this, sign in to your account and go to your Subscriptions page. A Pay button should be displayed next to the order under Related Orders. Click the Pay button, and you will begin the normal checkout process to pay for the subscription’s renewal. Once payment is completed for the renewal order, the subscription will be reactivated.
